Make It Monday: Summer Planning

This Monday, June 1, is the perfect moment to sit down with your children, print this calendar to stick to your fridge, and start a conversation about a summer hit list. Each year, our summer list of favorite places to get to is always repetitive as kids really love to revisit places full of memories. These top picks are on repeat on our family playlist each summer, just to name a few: the zoo, Kiawah Island, Capers Island, ice skating, waterskiing, and much more. Coordinating summer plans with friends? Email them this calendar and watch the dates fill in quickly! Scroll down to check out some more suggestions for June.

Add these to your summer plans too:
  • Summer movie classics at the Terrace Theater (FREE for children under 10, $4 for older children). The best!
  • Second Sunday on King St. on June 14th
  • Grace Episcopal tea room is fantastic through June 5th - supporting local charities.
  • FREE admission to Magnolia Plantation's Audubon Swamp in honor of John James Audubon on June 13 and 14.
  • Magnolia Plantation's Lady Bug Release is July 25 (details here).
As we approach the last days of our fifth grade year, we wish you and your family a joy-filled, unplugged summer to remember!
