Walk (or run) On Wednesday: the old Pitt St bridge

Here's a perfect 3 mile run/walk/ or bike ride for Wednesday. If you park near the Village Bakery at 125 Pitt St. in the Old Village area of Mt. Pleasant, you can make your way up Pitt St. to the end of the old bridge (Pickett Bridge), touch the railing at the end, and head back to make it a 3 mile round trip. There's a great breeze along the bridge stretch, fantastic views of the harbor, water fountains, and marsh birds of all varieties. (This is also a perfect spot to put in for kayaks and paddle boards). You can smell the pluff mud and hear it pop... never the same journey twice!

Here's a video to give you another look at this stunning area.
