  • Did you know it costs about $35 a day to care for a sea turtle in the Rescue Program at the SC Aquarium? This Friday, September 5 at 11am you can witness the release of the latest rehabilitated sea turtles from the SC Aquarium Sea Turtle Rescue Program - Folly Beach County Park marks the spot for this release for loggerhead sea turtles 'Trawler' and 'Atalaya' as well as a Kemp's Ridley Sea Turtle named 'Blu'. Blu is named for the Folly beach restaurant of the same name. The folks at Blu are donating 10% from the diners who lunch there this Friday towards the care of future turtles in the rescue program.
