southern shapes in snow

"Snow provokes responses that reach right back to childhood."
-Andy Goldsworthy, British sculptor and photographer

Sometimes when they go to bed wishing for something, you wish even harder that it will come true. They wished and hoped and prayed for real snow and it snowed; soft and silent. Even if only just a little bit for a little while it was enough to coat the ground. The iced  magnolias and palm fronds cast see-through molds of their perfect southern shapes. Thank God for answered prayers and real snow.
