lazy goat and keeping it movin'

Come on lazy goats, let's keep it movin'. I am including myself in the lazy goat bunch, by the way. It's hard to pull yourself out of the slow motion groove of the holidays and get back to a healthier standard of living so I'm linking you to some local ways to take a break from your children and spend some time focusing on your own well being (see below). But speaking of lazy goats, I also recommend trying The Lazy Goat to enjoy delicious, clean, Mediterranean food (as suggested by a friend and PMK reader )...

  • nmotion - hearing great things about this spiritual space for workouts by donation
  • bikram - a commitment of time and energy, but if you love heat you'll love this
  • jazzercise - drop the kids at school and head over for a morning session at 8:15 or 9:15. How convenient.
  • barre evolution - maybe try something new?
Would you consider running the Cooper River Bridge Run this year? If you've never tackled it, I press you to train for it and give it a try. Here's the schedule we follow and you can choose your own level: Hal Higdon 10K Training. You have plenty of time to be well prepared if you start now!

When you have a few minutes watch this sweet video of an inspiring weight loss story that will show you just how 100 days of working out can change your life!
