Corrine Jones Park

Ahhh, summer. Take time to smell the roses and wander to a park you've never tried before...


We discovered one new to us recently in the Wagener Terrace neighborhood downtown. In 2011 and 2012, the Charleston Parks Conservancy gave this park a make-over with the help of community volunteers.


The landscaping and shade structures are appealing and there are play spaces for big kids...


and little ones...

Amenities: picnic tables, shaded park benches, tennis courts, basketball court, soccer field (pictured above), drinking fountains
*pmk tip- pack a ball or frisbee or even tennis rackets, there's a lot to do here!
