Star Therapy Dogs are the best listeners

Last Friday, while walking in the Old Village, we ran into our friend and Star Therapy dog Sophie...

She reminded us that the old village branch of the public library is adding the Star Therapy Dog reading program to it's monthly lineup. If your child loves to read or is learning to read, why not come and cuddle up with a pup and read to it?

There are a variety of dogs to read to, big and small, and all are very sweet. This program really helped kick start my emerging readers years ago and also served as a perfect way to cure my son's fear of dogs.

This is a casual drop-in, so stop by and read a little, visit with these lovable listeners, grab an armload of books, and carry on with your Saturday. If you miss this one on Saturday in the Old Village, come and join us at the Mt. Pleasant Library on Saturday, May 18th.
