catch the leprechaun!

Searching for a great St. Patrick's day event for you and your children? There's a 5k fun run/walk coming up in Mt. Pleasant that we really enjoyed last year...

Whether you run, jog, walk, or a combination of the three, you will enjoy this course on Thursday evening. The Catch the Leprechaun 5k takes place at Mt. Pleasant Memorial Waterfront Park. The crowd is ushered to the start line in the company of bagpipers and the run takes you along Patriots Point and back, ending with food, live music, and adult beverages (would it be St. Patrick's Day without a cold beer at the end of the evening?) all included in the event package.

There really is a leprechaun! Can you catch him? The event benefits Pattison's Academy for children with disabilities, so wear your green and come out and support this great Low Country event. I like that the event is very family oriented and encourages children to run the course at their own pace.
