Connecting

These little running shoes have logged a fair few miles. Running and walking are great ways for children to absorb the beauty in their surroundings. Once a year, the Isle of Palms Connector is closed to allow for a pedestrian-only passage between the Isle of Palms and Mt. Pleasant, SC with a fantastic view of the October marsh. The colors in the marsh at 8am are reason enough to set your alarm a little early this Saturday. This child-friendly event benefits and celebrates children of the Lowcountry. I have run it, walked it, and pushed babies across it over the past decade and I can assure you it's well worth the effort.
Connect with your family. Connect with your pace. Connect with your community. I'll see ya there.

That stunning, morning October marsh. Thank you, Charleston.
